Queensland Pathways State College students and staff celebrated Queensland Mental Health Week. Our campuses were buzzing with creativity and connection. Young people enjoyed mindfulness through rock painting, powered smoothie bikes, juggling and making colourful Loom Bands.
Our Toowoomba campus hosted a lovely morning tea for the West Toowoomba Lions Club, to thank them for their generous support for our breakfast program.
This week reminded us all of the importance of mental health. We had open conversations about the challenges we face and explored ways to flourish through music, exercise, healthy choices and connection.
The theme for 2024 set by Mental Health Australia is Meaningful Connections Matter. This message reminded us the importance of connection with each other, loved ones, community, connection to Country and connection to supports and services.
