Our school proudly supports the Queensland government's Every day counts initiative and is firmly committed to improving student attendance at school.
Students are required to attend class from Monday to Thursday at the times listed below.
On Fridays, students are engaged in TAFE at Schools training programs or other training or work experience programs negotiated with staff. Students aiming to complete a Queensland Certificate of Education are able to negotiate extra tuition on Fridays or staff may request they work independently to meet coursework deadlines.
Class times
Students are welcome to arrive on campus for breakfast from 9.00-9.30am.
First session: 9.30-11am
Morning tea: 11.00-11.30am
Second session: 11.30am-12.30pm
Lunch: 12.30-1.00pm
Third session: 1.00-2.00pm
Teachers may request attendance between the hours of 9am and 3pm to allow time for additional tuition or meetings based around student goals and timelines.
