Our motto, Every Student Succeeding, means we are relentless in students achieving success, both at school and with transitions out of the college.
We cater for a diverse range of student needs including young people who have:
- mental health concerns
- difficult home lives
- social isolation
- youth justice involvement
- previous drug addictions
- medical conditions
- exclusions or cancellations from mainstream schooling
- previous enrolments in multiple schools
- low literacy/numeracy skills
- years out of schooling.
focus is to assist in the development of student’s literacy and numeracy skills
and address the barriers that prevent them from engaging in a mainstream school
through our wellbeing program called SWEL (Social skills, Work skills, Emotional skills, Life skills).
Students enroll with QPSC for approximately 12 months and are then supported to transition to work or further study.
