Meet Max: Building Confidence and a Bright Future at QPSC
Max is a dedicated student at our Mount Gravatt campus who joined Queensland Pathways State College (QPSC) in 2024 with a clear goal to complete his Individual Learning Plan and achieve his Literacy and Numeracy tick. Since starting his journey with QPSC, Max has built a life filled with confidence, structure and routine which has positively impacted his mental health along the way.
Max has been working towards completing his Certificate II in Active Volunteering. As part of this, he volunteers twice a week at the Brisbane Tramway Museum, where he takes on a variety of roles, from maintenance tasks to customer service, conducting trams and sharing the rich history of the museum with visitors.
Looking ahead, Max plans to continue volunteering at the Brisbane Tramway Museum while exploring career opportunities with Queensland Rail in the customer service field. He's working closely with a career pathways agency to make this dream a reality. His motivation is simple yet powerful, helping people get where they need to go.
Max's determination continues to shine, he recently passed his driving test, marking another exciting step toward his future goals. We're incredibly proud of Max and can't wait to see where his journey takes him next!
